Appointments diary_appointment

To make an appointment please call the Surgery on (01952) 560011.

'Urgent request on the day' will be a call from the duty doctor GP. The GP to then speak to the patient and assess the medical situation. The GP will then either deal with the issue/give advice on the phone, or will ask the patient to come to the surgery either later in the week, or on that day (depending on the medical urgency) to see a member of the clinical team. There will be some appointments that only the GPs can book to ensure this can happen.

Routine appointments

Please make one appointment for each patient. Request a double appointment if you know you will need more time.

Patients can request an appointment with a GP of their choice. It may not be possible to see the doctor of your choice immediately, and patients can book a routine appointment usually 3-4 weeks in advance.  Patients who need to be seen urgently must be prepared to accept an appointment with any doctor. These appointments can be booked by using the patient online access, please ask reception for details.

If you are struggling to get a routine appointment with us in the time frame you need, we are part of a pilot scheme which is called the Prime Minister Challenge Fund. This is a scheme that ourselves and 4 other surgeries in Telford are running. Across the 5 surgeries we offer evening appointments between 6pm-8pm and some weekend appointments. You can be seen at any of these surgeries and it may mean you are seen quicker. Please contact 0333 222 6649 if you wish to book a appointment through this scheme.

Please remember to cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend. We can then offer that appointment to another patient.
